Kidney (Renal) Dietitian Services

Living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) can lead to an overwhelming and often conflicting amount of dietary advice.

We can help by giving you clear, expert nutrition advice that is personalised to your health needs, empowering you with the confidence and knowledge when living with CKD.

Guidance with 1:1 Dietitian Consultations

Navigating the volume of kidney specific diet advice is difficult. Working out what information is reliable and relevant to you can be far harder than it should be.

Whether you have recently been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) or have lived with CKD for years we can help and offer support to adults 18+ years.

With over 15 years of experience working in NHS Kidney Dietetic services we provide highly specialised advice for all types of Kidney conditions and consider all aspects of your diet and health with specific focus on your kidney needs.

What do we cover?

Our services are primarily focused on Chronic Kidney Disease stages 1-3 (early stage Kidney Disease)

We cover all types of Kidney Disease

for example:

  • Diabetic Nephropathy (Diabetic Kidney Disease)

  • Hypertensive Nephropathy (Kidney Disease related to High Blood Pressure)

  • Genetic related (e.g. Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease or Alport Syndrome)

  • Auto-immune related (e.g.Lupus Nephritis or  IgA Nephropathy)

  • Other causes of CKD (e.g. CKD secondary to infections)

If you have later stage CKD (stage 4/5) we may be able to see you.

However, with later stage CKD we suggest where possible you first try to get advice from your nephrology team who are likely to have access to a wider multi-disciplinary team which may include a Kidney Dietitian.
